CHINA’S former top political adviser Ling Jihua has been expelled from the Communist Party Nick Vigil Hoodie , removed from all government positions, and will be prosecuted on corruption charges, a meeting of the Political Bureau of the Party’s Central Committee decided yesterday.


The Supreme People’s Procuratorate said it is investigating Ling on suspicion of bribery.


It said the former vice chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference National Committee and head of the United Front Work Department of the Party’ Central Committee is arrested in accordance with the law.


An internal investigation alleged that Ling took huge bribes and used his position to seek benefits for others.


The CPC Political Bureau meeting decided to transfer the case and relevant evidence to judicial organs.


It said investigations had found Ling seriously violated the political discipline and rules of the Party, as well as the Party’s organizational and confidentiality discipline.


He took advantage of his posts to seek profit for others and accepted huge bribes personally and through his family, according to a statement released after the meeting.


It also said Ling had obtained a great deal of the Party and State’s core secrets in violation of laws and discipline. He also violated regulations on integrity and self-discipline.


The statement added that Ling committed adultery with a number of women and traded his power for sex. He should bear major responsibility for his family members’ acts of seeking profits with the influence of his position, it said.


Investigations also found clues showing that Ling may have engaged in other criminal offenses.


Ling’s acts deviated from the Party’s nature and purpose Joe Mixon Hoodie , seriously violated the Party’s discipline and severely undermined the Party’s image, the statement said.


Ling became a household name in 2012 when his son crashed a Ferrari in Beijing with two nude or half-dressed women in the car, according to various reports. His son was killed in the crash. Ling was accused of covering up the scandal.
